I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen in love with a pair of shoes that hurt my feet. Sadly, most of those shoes end up in the love and leave it corner of my closet or hangout as decoration. I also can’t tell you how many times I’ve carried an extra pair of flats or rearranged my outfit and opted out of wearing the perfect shoe because I wanted to be comfortable.
I recently tried these comfort inserts c/o of Sole Patches. If you’ve followed my blog for a bit you’ve probably caught on that I love supporting small and local businesses. I have a deep respect for motivated women with a desire to create and dream big. I’m cheering these woman on! The Sole Patches brand is based on the desire of a woman who wanted to comfortably wear heels. You can read about the company here.
How to use Sole Patches shoe inserts
Sole Patches inserts are designed to stick to your foot as a removable insert option. You can also attach these inserts to your insoles as a permanent option. I don’t recommend attaching any insert permanently to the insole if you plan to resell the shoe. Adhesive from inserts can damage the insole. I often resell my designer and luxury shoes and damage to the insole just doesn’t cut it in designer and luxury resale world.
So far, I’ve used the Sole Patches inserts with some of my favorite heels, flats, and boots. I’ve worn them with shoes I knew were uncomfortable and with my pain-free shoes for an extra touch of comfort. I was able to easily remove them from my skin (sensitivity wasn’t an issue for me). I expect to be able to reuse the Sole Patches shoe inserts at least twice. If you have a favorite pair of uncomfortable shoes give these a try. At $10 a box they won’t break the bank.
