So let’s real talk for a bit. I’ve been working a ton lately but I’m still sticking to my plan of slowing down. I’m working to relax more and give my mind a break. I love work but we all need a break sometimes. I’m learning to enjoy my weekends, my family, and taking the time to relax. Basically, I’m learning to chill.
Another thing I’ve been working on is my closet and the struggle is very real. I have a hard time parting with my clothes and especially shoes. I’ve got a few things I feel I can’t live without because I have my mind set that I’ll wear them again. News flash to myself, things have changed in the last few years in the – ehhh, curve department. Without too much TMI, gaining about 12lbs increased my breast size. If I had known 12lbs would do that I would have gained it a long dang time ago! Due to the increase, many of my shirts and dresses no longer fit correctly. Let the closet purge begin and insert internal screaming.
I plan to sell most of the items that need to go on Poshmark. If you haven’t checked out my post on my favorite resale sites hop over to that post now (here). I love Poshmark and I used to shop the site a ton. Now, I mainly sell on posh but I did score this awesome Kate Spade Posy dress for a great deal. I’ll be honest, no one likes this dress except me. Literally, every single person I know hates this dress. Who cares though! I love this dress! I feel like a princess in it. Another reason to let the opinions of others flow right on by. Especially when it comes to personal style. Wear what you love people!
I first spotted this dress back in February when it arrived in a trunk from Trunk Club. If you’ve never heard of Trunk Club check them out because the service is awesome. I wanted the dress so bad but it was full price and I couldn’t justify paying it at the time. The weather was still cold and I just didn’t want to take the plunge. Fast forward a few months and I was still thinking about the dress. I searched it out on Poshmark and found it at a way lower price. It’s also on sale new through various retailers. The size was a bit off but overall I love it. I’m wearing a size 10 but I had to alter the top for a better fit. This dress didn’t just debut but I don’t care, I love it anyway!
I’m listing some of my other favorite Kate Spade items below as well as some of my favorite bags from other various brands.
(not sponsored, just showing you the dress I love even though no one else does)
