Stitch Fix: The Minimalist & Geometric Prints

Stitch Fix stitch-fix-piece stitch-fix-closeup

I’m a minimalist, this is no secret. Even though I’m a minimalist I enjoy adding some pieces that pop to my wardrobe and personal style. Adding standout pieces requires structure. The key is don’t go overboard and stick to only one area of the outfit. Lately, I’ve tried a few subscription style clothing services. I purchased this geometric mini through Stitch Fix. (you can check out my review here).

I instantly fell in love with this piece the moment I opened the package. I was immediately drawn to the geometric pattern and variations, the A-line cut, and the length. I felt a very 60’s mod vibe and I wanted to incorporate modern pieces to give it a unique look aligned with my personal style. This skirt can be played up and down in many different ways. To be honest, even though I knew how I wanted this skirt to look I struggled when I actually tried it on. After trying it on, I realized I could pair it with tights, OTK boots, flats, or a chunky sweater. The list goes on and on.

Even though I had the moment of indecisiveness (that actually my photographer helped me to resolve #whenwomenunite) the beauty is this piece can still be a staple in my wardrobe. Even though this piece is a standout piece, the ability to mix it up is built in through the cut and pattern. The unique features allow for many different tops, shoes, and bag options to be added. I’ll definitively be mixing this piece up in the near future.

Outfit Details

Sadly, some of my outfit pieces have sold out but no worries, I’m mixing very similar pieces below! Enjoy!
